The Arian exhibition has kicked off at Amahoro  Petit Stade in Remera. Arian is an exhibition for Iranian commodities manufactured by Iranian companies. It kicked off yesterday despite a low turn up. 

Arash Ashtari, Head of Commercial Affairs of Arian Trade and Investment Group said that the exhibition is intended to offer Rwandans a chance to procure some Iranian quality products.

There are about 16 Iranian companies available for the 15 days exhibition, with a variety of products such as jewelers, cutlery, and furniture. 

This is the first time the exhibition is being held in Rwanda and Ashtari said they were attracted by the country’s policy that guarantees a ‘red carpet’ to investors.

While officially opening the exhibition, Prisca Mujawayezu, Deputy Executive Secretary of the Rwanda Private Sector Federation (PSF) said that it is likely to benefit both local and international exhibitors through the creation of networks. This could also result into business synergies.

"I expect local investors to liaise with the Iranian investors so that they can improve the quality of goods produced in the country,” she added.
