Editor,

Yesterday I read a letter in your paper that advised Rwandans to "Stop exaggerating wedding ceremonies” by a one Lilian Keza in Kigali.

I would like to thank Lilian for stressing the fact that it is not really necessary to spend extravagantly on a wedding ceremony.

I believe that if we stop spending like this on weddings then we will be able to save more money for other developments.

Rwandans should endeavour to save more money because this is one way through which investments will increase thus spur economic development.

Developed countries are ranked according to the people’s level of savings so we need to save more to influence development.
