SKOL Breweries Limited last week launched a new packaging line, which is expected to increase efficiency. The new plant is worth more than $10m. The new line is expected to increase the bottling capacity from 450,000 hectolitres to more than a million hectoliters, a year. Skol Brewery Rwanda Ltd grew its market share by 20 per cent in 2018 from 5 per cent in 2010.

SKOL Brewery Ltd (SBL) is a subsidiary of UNIBRA, a Belgium-based, family owned company, having activities in the brewery industry, real estate and financial services.
The launch of the new bottling line was held on January 29, 2019 at the brewery’s plant in Nzove, Nyarugenge district of Kigali city.
SBL began operations in Rwanda in 2010.
