Bralirwa Plc, in partnership with Kigali Golf Club, on Friday launched the Golf Corporate Night which will be taking place every last Friday of the month at the Kigali Golf Club.
During the launch ceremony, Kigali Golf Club captain Davis Kashaka said that the partnership with the brewery company has a duration of three years, subject to renewal.
"This event is a big deal for us, we are happy for the partnership with Bralirwa,” said Kashaka.
The further noted that, "Having a tournament every month will not only open space for golfers at the club, but will also contribute to our journey in becoming a hub for golf tourism.”
Bralirwa, who are coming back in the golf arena after several years of absence, join other corporate companies that sponsor golf competitions such as; Toyota Rwanda, Volkswagen Rwanda, MTN-Rwanda, Transform Africa, CIMERWA, Bank of Kigali and PKF.
Forty-nine golfers took to green in the inaugural edition of the one-day competition at the 9-hole Kigali Golf Club, which was won by Sanday Kabarebe after returning 23 nets. Felix Sugi (22) was the first runner-up while Paul Ntanganda (21) completed top three.
