The National University of Rwanda in Butare, in partnership with the Centre for Geographic Information Science (CGIS), last week introduced a new course in Geo-Information science.

According to Professor Martin O’Hara the Vice Rector of the National University of Rwanda, the programme will help people in Rwanda to learn  about the country’s geography. In this way, rural areas will develop and poverty will reduce.

Children who would like to do this course in future are advised to have much interest in Geography and science so that they become future experts in the field.
