It was indeed a special night for the ladies, and right from the door, special treatment was accorded them. For starters, they were not subjected to the usual entry fee of Rwf5000.
They walked in absolutely free. And this was not all; a complementary cocktail awaited them as they were ushered in, and the ‘comp’ drinks kept flowing until 1am!
The ambience was enhanced by the riveting sounds of the best music over the ages. DJ Kadir did not disappoint, he kept the revelers on their feet throughout the night.
There was as wide a range of music as there were varieties, from the oldies, R&B, hip hop, salsa, and Afro reggae. We should also probably admit that Rwandan women have quickly adopted the western culture, where clubbing is no longer a thing for only men and teens.
Today, we see them craving for their independence, gender equality and comfortable environments where they are not necessarily going to stay home, and leave their husbands and brothers to go out alone and enjoy themselves.
The ‘Ladies Special Night’ at B-Club, was introduced mid last year with the aim of encouraging women to enter the social and entertainment world. Aspace for them to enjoy life to the fullest.
