Karera’s life imprisonment sentence that was confirmed by the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) is well deserved. The man practically instigated and committed genocide which is a terrible crime against humanity.

He deserves this kind of sentence because he will not have the chance to come out and haunt survivors with his presence. It is really good to watch justice prevail. Many Rwandans actually say that it speeds reconciliation. Good work ICTR.
