U.S.-based Rwandan artiste Médard Ngabo, aka Meddy, is in town ahead of the much anticipated "East African Party”.
The singer touched down at Kigali International Airport this evening, December 24. The concert, which is slated for New Year’s Day, January 1, at Amahoro National Stadium’s main parking lot, in Remera, will also be graced by all-male artistes Riderman, Social Mula, Yvan Buravan, and Bruce Melodie.
While talking to the press shortly after touching down, Meddy said he was so happy and excited to be back home, and to usher in the New Year with his fans.
The Adi Top hitmaker, 28, cut a casual figure in a pair of tracksuit ensemble, while his girlfriend was wearing a pink tracksuit.
The singer is arguably one of the most talented Rwandan musicians in the diaspora. Some of his most sought after hits include ‘Lose Control’, ‘Burinde Bucya’, ‘Nta Wamusimbura’, ‘Holy Spirit’, ‘Nasara’, ‘Slowly’, and ‘Adi Top’.
Entrance fee is Rwf5000 (regular), and Rwf10.000 (VIP section).
