University of Tourism Technology and Business Studies (UTB) will be eyeing victory when they face Rwanda Energy Group (REG) in the national volleyball league on Saturday.
A win for UTB would take them to the summit of the table. The game will start at 5pm, at Amahoro Indoor Stadium
The varsity side will be seeking revenge over last season’s first runners-up after REG beat UTB in four sets (3-1) in the first-leg game last month.
Ahead of the much-awaited clash between the two sides, UTB level with REG at 14 points from six games, having both won five and lost one, respectively. However, the former rank ahead courtesy of a better differential in points won versus points conceded.
"We are ready for the game, all my players are fit and fired up for it. We lost to REG twice since I took over the club, Saturday presents an opportunity for revenge,” UTB head coach Fidele Nyirimana told Saturday Sport in an exclusive interview on Friday.
Table leaders, Gisagara will have a weekend off.
