Rwandan international Samuel Gueulette and his Raal La Louviere team will play in the Belgian second division during the 2024/2025 after winning the third tire league over the weekend with three games to spare.

Elsewhere, Djihad Bizimana put up a great show in Kryvbas’ 2-1 win over Chernomerets whereas Warren Kamanzi excelled in Toulouse 2-2 draw with UEFA Europa League semifinalists Olympique de Marseille.

Sweden

Midfielder Yannick Mukunzi, who recovered from any injury, played his first game for Sandviken IF in the Swedish Superettan League on Saturday, April 20, when he replaced Malachowski Therell in the 86th minute. Sandviken beat Osters 1-0.

Countryman Lague Byiringiro didn't make the match day squad.

In the same division, Rafael York didn't make the Gefle IF team that lost 2-1 to Oddevold.

Central defender Ange Mutsinzi was a full timer for FK Jerv who beat Hodd 2-1 in match day 3 of the third tier league.

Noam Emeran continues to struggle for playing time at Groningen. The former Manchester United forward was again an unused substitute as his side thrashed Cambuur 3-0 to climb to third place on the Eredivisie League table

Belgium

Teenager Hakim Sahabo played 64 for Standard Liege who drew 3-3 with Westerlo at Het Kuipje Stadium in the playoff game on Saturday, April 20.

Defensive midfielder Samuel Gueulette played full throttle as Raal La Louviere beat Gent II 3-1 to secure qualification to the second tier. Raal have 80 points with three games to play. Their closest rivals Lokeren are second with 67 points.

Warren Kamanzi played 90 minutes for Toulouse who held Olympique Marseille to a 2-2 draw in the French Ligue 1.

Centre back Brian Ngwabije failed to make the Andrezieux match day squad as they drew goalless with Toulouse II in the CFA League.

Amavubi skipper Djihad Bizimana saw another 90 minutes of action as FC Kryvbas beat Chornomorets Odesa 2-1 to close the gap at the top the Ukrainian Premier League table led by Shakhtar Donetsk.

Macedonia

Centre back Abdul Rwatubyaye was a pillar at the back for FC Shkupi who drew 0-0 with Sileks on Sunday, April 21.

South Africa

Fiacre Ntwari against started in the posts for TS Galaxy who suffered a 2-1 defeat to Stellenbosch in the DSTV Premier League.

Morocco

Left-back Emmanuel Imanishimwe was an unused substitute for Botola League Leaders AS FAR Rabat who beat Mas de Fes 3-1.

Kenya

Arthur Gitego replaced Victor Omune in the 55th minute as AFC Leopards lost 1-0 to Gor Mahia. Patrick Sibomana was an unused substitute for the winners.
