Umunyana scoops three awards ahead of Miss University Africa finale

Rwanda’s Shanita Umunyana has scooped three awards at the ongoing Miss University Africa 2018 beauty pageant. The Miss Rwanda 2018 first runner-up was today awarded with "President’s Choice Award", "Best Video Presentation Award" and "Best Social Work Award".
The beauty queen will tonight battle for the Miss University Africa crown, with other 44 contestants from different African countries, at Imo International Convention Center, Oweri Imo State.

The winner will succeed Lorraine Nadal of Mauritius.
Miss University Africa (MUA) is an annual international beauty pageant that was first held in 2010.
