Editor,

Just when we almost believed that the so called Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda have been successfully smoked out by the joint Rwandan-Congolese military operation, the rebels have now crossed to our neighbouring country—Uganda.

This implies that they are yet to cause insecurity in Uganda as well. Sincerely, for how long are they planning to make people’s lives a misery?

Is this a cat and mouse game? Governments in the region have done whatever it takes to wipe them out but it looks like they are determined to disorganise the whole region.

Uganda too should smoke them out. These people are merciless, lest they will rape, maim and start killing Ugandans too.

They did it in Rwanda and are doing the same in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.  We need lasting peace in the region.
