Sunrise FC striker Samson Babua believes his team can still survive relegation as long as he and teammates show determination in the remaining games of the season.
The Nyagatare-based club are third-last on the league table with just seven points from 26 matches they have played. This means they are only one position away from relegation, since the bottom two teams are always sent to Division 2.

As their fight for survival continues, the team’s next fixture is an uphill task as it will be coming up against 10th placed Gasogi United on Friday, April 19 at Kigali Pele Stadium.
"It will be a tough match but we are optimistic, we are going for nothing but a win. I have told the players that we must double our effort if we are to avoid relegation,” the Nigerian striker told Times Sport on Tuesday.
