A reliable source from the Kepler BBC management on Tuesday, April 16, confirmed to Times Sport that Kazeneza has agreed to play for the club during the second round of the Rwanda Basketball League and the playoffs.

Kazeneza's basketball journey began in 2014 when he joined his first team, Petit Séminaire Saint Léon, under the tutelage of Didier Nshuti, who is now a renowned basketball referee.
This marked a turning point for the player, who also earned his first call-up to the junior national team.
Following his stint at Saint Leon, Kazeneza experienced remarkable growth in his basketball career, leading to his signing by Espoir before ultimately joining APR.
He has been playing for William Carey University since 2020, where he is also pursuing his college studies.
He becomes Kepler’s second signing in less than a week during which the club also secured the services of Burundian star point guard Guibert Nijimbere.
Currently sixth on the 10-team league table, the team believes the arrivals of Nijimbere and Kazeneza can boost their chances of finishing the top four hence qualifying for the playoffs on their debut season in topflight basketball.
The second round of the league begins in May.
