Xandra Wihogora of APEC School in Kigali also passed with a super distinction and says it is very important to utilise teachers at school. She said that children can only pass, if they endeavor to ask what they do not understand.

Melyse Ishimwe Shema from St. Patrick School in Kicukiro passed with a grand distinction in PLE and hopes to join FAWE Girls School. She told The Children’s Times that hard work pays.

"I have always been attentive in class but ahead of the examination season, I took time to revise and understand every topic. Now I believe that hard work really pays,” Ishimwe said.
