Musanze head coach Emmanuel Ruremesha has vowed that his team will be on a serious mission for three points when they host defending champions APR at Ubworoherane stadium on Saturday.
Musanze managed to get a point away to AS Kigali in their season opener at Kigali Stadium last Sunday and Ruremesha is positive his men will make the most of home advantage against APR.
APR kicked off the campaign with a 2-0 win over Amagaju.
Ruremesha said: "I have no doubt we have the quality to win against big teams, and APR are no exception. After earning a point away to AS Kigali, we are now looking for all the points, against APR, at home”.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Kirehe host AS Kigali with newly appointed coach Djuma Masudi, Amagaju welcome AS Muhanga at Nyagasenyi grounds in Nyamagabe District, Sunrise face Gicumbi, while Bugesera will be up against Etincelles at Nyamata ground.
The Azam Rwanda Premier League will continue Sunday with eight-time champions Rayon Sports taking on Peace Cup holders Mukura at Kigali Stadium.
Police rout Espoir
Meanwhile, Albert Joel Mphande’s Police FC humiliated Espoir FC 5-1 at Kigali Stadium on Friday in the first league game of the weekend, while SC Kiyovu were held by Marines to a goalless draw at Mumena Stadium in Nyamirambo.
The law enforcers lost 2-1 to newly promoted AS Muhanga in their league opener last Sunday.
