Meet Eric Manzi Rugamba, the 15 year old boy who emerged as best O-level student country-wide. He always had a dream of being on top and indeed he achieved it.

In an exclusive interview with The New Times, the champion revealed that he worked very hard and that’s why he excelled. He scored highly with 84.2 points and had the best marks in Mathematics and Physics.

Rugambe’s record of excelling goes way back to his primary education. In 2005 he was also the second best country-wide in PLE. This brilliant boy has big dreams he intends to achieve them.

"I want to become an engineer in the future. Who knows maybe I will be President one day too,” he said overjoyed.
He had a message for other children too.

"My message to fellow students is to work hard. Only those who work hard succeed in life,” he said.
