East African Nights of Tolerance
East African Nights of Tolerance (EANT), an annual showcase of Contemporary Dance from Rwanda and East Africa, is back. The event takes place on October 26 to 27 at the Kigali Cultural Village (KCV). Performances will come from contemporary dance troupes from Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, the DRC, and Burundi, which is participating for the first time. This year’s theme is: Political Body.
Kigali Jazz Junction
This Kigali Jazz Junction edition will feature the legendary and King of Afro Jazz Oliver Tuku Mtukudzi, and vocalist Bruce Melodie, together with the Neptunez Band. It takes place today at the Kigali Serena Hotel. Showtime is 8pm.
Taste of EthioEritrea
Lalibela Ethiopian Restaurant and Real Eventique today brings the opportunity to explore Ethiopian and Eritrean ways of living and cultural heritage by experiencing the cuisine, traditional attire, music and exhibition from 6pm till late.
Jazz with Stella
Up and coming jazz musician, Stella Tushabe, performs at Hotel Villa Portofino this Sunday. Tushabe plays her saxophone alongside Evy Ngabo (Piano) and Delphine Manishimwe (vocalist) at the show which starts from 6pm to 10pm. Held at the poolside, her show, dubbed #JazzWithStella, is free of charge and there are many promos on drinks and food.
Movies
Have fun with family and friends as you watch the latest movies, ‘Venom’, ‘Small foot’, and ‘The Predator’, showing this weekend at Century Cinema, Kigali located at Kigali City Tower. Showtime is 2pm to 9:15pm.
