Experienced trainer Moussa Gatera has been appointed as the new coach of second tier side Rutsiro FC on a two-month deal.
Gatera, who was sacked by Gorilla FC in February, replaces Godfrey Okoko who was fired by the club earlier in April though the team sits on top of the league.
The tactician has been tasked to lead the club back to the Primus National League next season after which he would be handed a lengthy deal.
"The target given to me by Rutsiro FC is to qualify them to the top division," Gatera told the press.
President of Rutsiro FC Ernest Nsanzineza also reiterated that Gatera&039;s contract extension will depend on how the club performs under his tutelage during the remainder of the season.
"Gatera's contract expires at the end of the season but we will only extend it if qualifier us to the first division which is the target set by management for him," Nsanzineza stressed.
Rutsiro FC currently sit at the top of the first division zonal table with 47 points. Gatera's first assignment will be against Intare FC on April 20.
Besides Gorilla FC, he previously handled Isonga FC, Sunrise FC and Espoir FC.
