Kagame attends opening session of 17th Francophonie Summit

President Paul Kagame joined other heads of state for the opening ceremony of the 17th Summit of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie that started Thursday in Yerevan, Armenia. The two-day event is expected to end today with the election of the Secretary-General of the 84-nation body. The President later met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the sidelines of the summit. Village Urugwiro.
