Dear Editor,

It was with so much joy that I got to know about Rwandatel’s new roaming service with the Uganda base—Uganda Telecom. Surely for a network that has just launched a very good GSM service a few months back, this is already good progress.

By now any Rwandans should believe what Lap Green, a Libyan firm that bought the 80 percent stake in Rwandatel promised in their rollout plan.

For starters, the company promised to deliver up-to standard, cheap telecommunication services in the East African Region. We are already benefiting from the service, therefore making you a pan African company.

I would therefore like to thank the management of Rwandatel for not only giving us the cheapest call rates in this country but also for endeavouring to becoming the most reliable network in the region by spreading its wings further.

Thank you. Keep up the good work!
