Dear Editor,
Let me take this opportunity to call upon Rwandans to come and back their national team as we take on Ghana in search for the semi-final slot of the African Youth Championship being held in Kigali.
Today, we face Ghana at Amahoro stadium and a win in this game will not only enable Rwanda to reach the semi-final stage of the championship but will earn Rwanda a ticket to the Fifa U-20 World Cup in Egypt, September this year.
I therefore call upon all to morale boost our team, whether we qualify or not, our presence will be beneficial. Remember that, Rwanda defeated Mali 2-1 in the opening game and managed to draw against Cameroon 1-1.
Since then, we have earned four points in those two games. A win in today’s game will go down in the history of Rwandan football and that is why we need to watch history in the making.
You, I and the unbeatable Amavubi U-20 team must be at Amahoro stadium so that we bring down the Black satellites of Ghana this afternoon.
