LAST LINE OF DEFENCE: Goalkeeper Jean Luc Ndayishimye has been in great form.

Rwanda U-20 team head coach Obradovic Tomislav has urged the Junior Wasps to put pressure on the Black satellites in tomorrow’s African Youth Championship group A tie at Amahoro stadium.

The Croat said that they will handle Ghana match with the same respect and play the same football as they did against Mali and Cameroon.

"We still have chances of reaching the semi final stage of this championship and first we must beat Ghana.

"I am confident that my boys will play an extraordinary game against the Black Satellites but we need to be focused if we are to win this game,” admitted Tomislav.

"A win and a draw in the two matches we’ve played is a sign of the good things to come. The team played well and I’m happy with the performance and results.

"We’re not there yet but I know at the end of the day, we shall qualify for the semi-final stage,” he added.

Rwanda needs to win against Ghana to be assured of a place not only in the semifinal of the African championship but also at next year’s World Youth Championship set to be held in Cairo, Egypt.

However, a draw for both Ghana and Rwanda would be fruitful if Cameroon lose or draws against Mali in the other match that will be played concurrently at the Regional stadium.

Nyamirambo as away of avoiding claims of match fixing. The Black Satellites last appearance in the Championship came in 2003 in Burkina Faso where they were knocked out at the group stage while Rwanda is making her debut.

Rwanda and Ghana are tied on four points in group A after winning one and drawing of their first two matches.

Rwanda beat Mali 2-1 in the opener as Ghana played out a 1-all draw against Cameroon. In the second game, Rwanda played a 1-all draw against Cameroon as Ghana whipped Mali 2-0.

The four semi-finalists from the tournament in Rwanda will automatically qualify for the 2009 U-20 World Youth Championship to be played in Egypt.

If hosts Egypt reach the last four in Rwanda then the 5th placed team will qualify for the global youth event.
