World of Adventures: You can explore Rwanda in private jet
Wednesday, September 19, 2018

Four Seasons Hotels Limited, an international luxury hospitality firm based in Toronto, Ontario, has added Rwanda on the list of ‘World of Adventures’ 2019 trip.

World of Adventures is the company’s programme in which guests embark on vacations in different countries on a private jet. Excursions, food, hotel costs and airfare are all included.

According to the firm, this year, people who sign up to the programme will travel to eight countries in a period of 23 unforgettable days, from October 23 to November 15, 2019.

Rwanda is among the destinations that Four Seasons has added on the list of the countries to explore. It is the first time the country is being added on the list of the World of Adventures.

It is indicated that this time round, guests who will be on board Four Season’s private jet will explore Rwanda from November 3-5.

Sunny Ntayombya, the Head of Communications and Marketing at Rwanda Development Board, says it is evidence that Rwanda’s high-end tourism strategy is working.

"The fact that we are among the limited number of destinations that Four Seasons deems worthy of their once in a lifetime package shows that we have the experiences that can excite the most discerning travellers in the world,” he noted.

He added that they expect "even more such news as the ‘Visit Rwanda’ marketing campaign continues to bear fruit”.

In Rwanda, Four Seasons says its clients will explore the life of the mountain gorillas in the Volcanoes National Park.

"In the forest-covered mountains of Rwanda, come face-to-face with a family of mountain gorillas on one of the world’s most rewarding wildlife experiences,” it says on its website.

The trip will start from Seattle in the US then to Kyoto in Japan all through to Bali in Indonesia and to Seychelles.

From Seychelles, the trip will continue to Rwanda before proceeding to Marrakech in Morocco and Bogota in Colombia. The trip will conclude with people exploring the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador and finale to Miami.

The entire package stands at $143,000 per person (based on double occupancy) and $14,300 for single traveller supplement.
