Tunisia Vs Morocco
Rwanda Vs Egypt
The national U-21 men’s volleyball team will qualify for the 2019 Men’s U21 World Volleyball Championship, should they see off Egypt in semi-finals of the ongoing African championship in Abuja, Nigeria.
Rwanda face an uphill task as they face giants Egypt this afternoon for a final berth.
In another semi-final, it will be an all-North African clash as Tunisia and Morocco square-off.
While speaking to Sunday Sport in a telephone interview from Nigeria on Saturday, Rwanda’s Kenyan coach Paul Bitok admitted that the clash against Egypt is going to be a tough one.
"It is going to be a tough call to overcome Egypt, they are the defending champions and have already showed ability to retain the title. Nonetheless, my players are in great form and ready for the challenge. We are going to battle with all that we got for a victory,” he said.
Bitok also revealed that skipper Wilcriff Dusengimana and libero Jules Nigena are fit for the match having sustained minor injuries in the group campaign.
The champions and beaten finalists will automatically book tickets to represent Africa at the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship to be staged in Bahrain.
