Rwanda Volleyball Federation, (FRVB) has organised the fourth edition of the annual circuit beach volleyball tournament, a two-day showpiece that gets underway today and concludes Sunday at Palm Beach in Rubavu District.

According to FRVB Technical Director, Gertrude Kubwimana, the event is aimed at keeping players ‘fresh and fit’ ahead of the new season which will start in November.

The competition is comprised of the female category, men’s category and veterans’ category.

Winners in each category will get Rwf200,000, finalists will walk away with Rwf 150,000, while the second runners-up will be given Rwf100,000, respectively.

The duo of Olivier Ntagengwa and Patrick Kavalo are three-time reigning winners of the tournament in the men’s professional category.
