Several artists, including talented live painter Remy Iradukunda, will grace the opening of Great Arts Makes All Art foundation tomorrow in Kacyiru.

The live painter will be joined by visual artists Timothy Wandulu, from Concept Studios, Gray from Yaya Art, Guillian Iradukunda and Emma Umugwaneza, from Gama as well as other upcoming artists who will be exhibiting some of their art pieces.

The art foundation, once open, will offer services, including free training to less privileged children, introduce ‘Umuganda’ for children, internship to art students and host youth art conferences and training among other services .

The less privileged children at the art foundation are provided with art supplies which include Art books, brushes, and other requirements.

Speaking to The New Times, Julius Zigama, the founder, disclosed that he was inspired to create Gama Art Foundation by the creation of everything related to ARTS.

"I realised that with arts we have freedom of individuality or independent thinking and therapeutically, art develops our inner minds. Our creativity is seen through arts,” he noted

"I could not do this alone. I decided to bring together different talents and share out their inner creation of arts as we give back to society,” he added

Guests at the opening will be treated to live poetry from celebrated poets Skid and Greta and guitar blue strings by Deo Salvator.

The event, that begins at 6pm and ends at 10pm, will also feature live performance by Mike Kayihura.
