It’s the fight that keeps on giving.
After Nicki Minaj and Cardi B got heated at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party last week, and shoes quite literally flew through the air, there has been no sign that either party is willing to fix their feud.
First came Cardi’s Instagram post, where she told her followers, "I’ve worked to [sic] hard and come too far to let anybody f**k with my success!!!!”
Then Nicki finally broke her silence on her Queen Radio show on Beats 1, saying, "I could not believe how humiliating it all felt...how we made ourselves look.
"I would never discuss anyone’s child and it’s so sad that for someone to pin that on me because I’m the bad guy and people would believe them.”
Nicki also liked tweets about the drama from her fans that backed Nicki up, claiming that she never spoken about Cardi B’s baby, Kulture.
Cardi was not ready to bury the hatchet, with sources saying she apparently feels "zero remorse” for the incident and would hurl another stiletto given the chance.
But now, the voice of reason we never knew we needed has weighed in on the situation, in the form of Kelly Rowland.
Turns out Kelly had a front row seat to the drama, so managed to see the whole fight, and she was not impressed.
Speaking to E! News, Kelly said, "I think in a time where Serena Williams is fighting for equality—I love both Nicki Minaj and Cardi B and I think that they are extremely talented—and in a time when she is fighting for women’s equality, we just can’t be fighting.
"There’s no time for us as women to fight and they are just so talented and I just genuinely love them both so much, but it’s just not the time. We have way bigger issues as women, you know what I mean? So I don’t know. I’m Switzerland, I don’t fucking know.”
