Emery Gatsinzi has responded to reports that he intends to take a break or quit music before the end this year.

Recently, reports emerged that the rapper and PGGSS 3 winner, known professionally as Riderman, was taking teensy break from music to concentrate on other business ventures.

However, speaking to The New Times on Monday, the ‘Inyuguti ya R’ singer refuted the allegations.

"I’ve heard those rumors making rounds, but it’s completely untrue and misleading,” said Riderman, assuring fans that new songs are coming.

The singer and songwriter added that he is not doing music as a part-time job like it was alleged.  

"Someone doing music as a part time job can’t manage to record and release three albums in a space of only three years, one of which with over 30 tracks, without collabos,” he said.

"My other projects can’t prevent me from doing music, because I’ve people who run them for me. My priority is making music, and I continue to dedicate most of my time and investment into it,” the singer added.

Riderman’s albums include ‘Ukuri’ released in 2016, and the mixtape film released in 2017. 

On September 3, the rapper released a new single ‘Ikinyarwanda’, featuring Bruce Melody, and the song has already earned 7,506 views on Youtube, while ‘Ntakibazo’, his recent collabo with boy group Urban Boys and Bruce Melody, is arguably taking over the national airwaves.
