Was Shaddy Boo’s Instagram account hacked?

Let’s get one thing out of the way; Shaddy Boo is arguably Rwanda’s most famous slay queen/socialite, with 325,000 Instagram followers to prove it.

It looks like whoever was behind the hacking of celebrity accounts in Uganda is back at it again - or maybe not.  Many Ugandan celebrities suffered at the hands of hackers, including Zari Hassan, who managed to secure hers again, and comedian Anne Kansiime who wasn’t so lucky and had to open another account. 

Now online reports suggest that Rwanda’s Instagram queen, Shaddy Boo, is the latest victim. Shaddy Boo was quoted saying that her account had been hacked and all her posts were deleted. To her followers, it was impossible to view anything that she had earlier posted.

But the socialite’s account seems to have been recovered, with all the allegedly deleted posts intact. The question is, how does one retrieve posts that were deleted?  Was she really hacked? Snoops say that the socialite was just ‘playing games’ and like many celebrities, attention was her motive.   It is speculated that she temporarily disabled her account. If you temporarily disable your account, your posts will be hidden until you reactivate it.

Is Akon coming for Kwita Izina?

US-based Senegalese singer Akon might be in the country next week, sources reveal.

The singer is expected in Rwanda as part of the foreign delegation that will grace the annual Kwita Izina event, also known as the Gorilla Naming Ceremony. Akon will, along with other selected big names, have the honour of naming a gorilla at the event that will take place in Musanze District.

Wedding bells for Big Fizzo

Big Farious, or Fizzo as he prefers to be called, is said to be ready to walk down the aisle.

The renowned Burundian musician will soon be husband to one Edith Stein Kimana, who according to our snoops, spends most of her time in Italy. It is said that the couple had an introduction ceremony that took place in the capital, Bujumbura.

But fans are wondering why the ceremony happened in ‘privacy’, with only a few friends present.

We are told that the wedding might take place in Italy where the lady is based, or Paris where the musician spends most of his time.

Has Vera Sidika found new love after Otile Brown breakup?

Vera Sidika has just proved Otile Brown is completely replaceable after she decided to post a few photos of her latest catch.

Their story

Otile Brown and Vera Sidika were really trending on social media months ago because they seemed happy and in love. Photos flocked their Instagram pages expressing how in love they were. They went for a trip in Mauritius and had fun. Otile being a man in love really tried to keep up with her.

Many criticised Otile saying that he was no match for Vera, and some actually supported them because "love is blind”. To top it all, the song Baby Love by Otile Brown was released. The song is about people who criticise two people in love, those that do not want them to stay in love. Vera was the main vixen in the video’s song which really caused a buzz on social media.

The breakup

The song went viral and some said it was a publicity stunt. Later on, there were rumours of the couple breaking up which was later confirmed by Sidika. She went to social media to post that she had been truly in love with him and even though she quit being a video vixen she was still willing to do it for him, but the man dumped her for no reason.

This was heartbreaking for her and some fans really supported her. Many knew that their relationship would not last and their doubts are now cleared. Otile and Sidika are no more and she has allegedly moved on, as she has been spotted with a man that is said to be the new catch. 

Even before her breakup with Otile went cold, she posted photos of him but he is currently unidentified. Probably, this is her new ‘bae’ or maybe he is just a friend, but all in all, the truth shall be all over social media within no time.

Wema Sepetu trolled for getting cosy with Diamond

Queen of bongo movies Wema Sepetu has come out guns blazing to shut up critics who are on her case, especially whenever she is spotted with her ex-boyfriend Diamond Platnumz. Her rant came hot on the heels of a savage trol after she was captured on video looking all cozy with Diamond at a party.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, August 25, Wema asked people to let her be and enjoy her life. In a bitter post, Wema said people should stop attacking her whenever she takes photos with Diamond. Wema held that she does not and will never live her life according to how people want her to live.

Wema had shared a video of herself having a good time with Diamond at his cousin DJ Romy Jones’ birthday party on Snapchat. In the said video, the former couple was seen getting close while the singer affectionately grabbed her hair leaving her with a cheeky smile. And a section of fans were left confused considering there were rumours that the award-winning artiste was planning to wed his baby mama, Hamisa Mobetto, soon.
