In Our Art concert
Rwandan-German singer, songwriter and poet Shavu is in the country ahead of her first musical performance, the ‘In Our Art - Kigali Edition’. The show is scheduled for Friday August 31, at Gusto Italiano Restaurant and Bar in Kimihurura. Shavu will be performing alongside German musician Wu, with whom she has collaborated on a few songs.
Open book discussion
The Circles of Bookaholics will meet September 1 from 3-5pm at Kigali Public Library for a discussion. Come and learn from the three bestselling self-help books. The books are ‘The richest man in Babylon’ by George Clason, ‘Think and grow rich’ by Napoleon Hill, ‘Secrets of a millionaire mind’ by Harv Eker. The topic of discussion is ‘Savings, an approach to accumulate personal wealth.’
1000 Hills Rugby 7’S Festival
The 1000 Hills Rugby 7’S Festival is back for the 3rd edition. The festival will feature music from Scratch Music DJs, food & cocktails from 1000 Hills Distillery. The festival will take place at APR Grounds, next to Amahoro National Stadium on Saturday September 1 from 9am to 5pm.
Movies
Have fun with family and friends as you watch the latest movies, Hotel Transylvania 3, Equalizer 2, The Meg, Gold, all showing this weekend at Century Cinema, Kigali located at the Kigali City Tower. Showtime is 4pm to 9pm.
Night clubs
If you are still looking for places to hang out this weekend, worry no more. Kigali has a number of night clubs. They include The Junction, Chillax Lounge, K-Club, Envy club, and People’s Club .
