Three Caf/Fifa referees called for African Youth Championship passed a Fifa Fitness test held yesterday at Amahoro stadium.
The trio includes Rwanda’s assistant referee Felicien Kabanda, Hussein Bugembe (Uganda) and centre referee Alfred Ndinya (Kenya).

The trio was summoned late last week after three of the initially 18 referees selected by Confederation of African Football failed to pass the Fifa Fitness test held last week.

Ndinya joins other centre referees for this championship including; Rwanda’s Michel Gasingwa, Abdel Gadir Badr (Sudan), Keita Yakhouba (Guinea), Bennet Daniel (South Africa), Wellington Kaoma (Zambia), Ousmane Fall (Senegal), and Ragab Omar Mohamed(Libya).
