Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed arrived in Kigali on Saturday, April 6, for the 30th commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda which is set for April 7.
Ahmed touched down at Kigali International Airport in the morning hours of Saturday.

He is expected to attend the solemn ceremony of remembrance which will take place at BK Arena on Sunday, April 7.
A number of foreign dignitaries including Heads of States, ministers and diplomats continuie to arrive in the country ahead of Kwibuka 30 which starts on April 7.

The commemoration will begin week-long activities to remember the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi that claimed the lives of more than one million Tutsi in 100 days.
