Rwanda’s U-20 handball team start the campaign for top Africa Challenge Trophy honors this afternoon when they take on Senegal in Group B opener at Amahoro Stadium – kick-off 4:30pm.
The junior continental competition gets underway today and will run through August 12 at Amahoro National Stadium.
In another game to be played today, DR Congo will be up against Nigeria, in Group A, in the tournament’s opening match at 2pm – same venue.
After today’s clash against Senegal, the hosts will take on Madagascar in their second and last group game on Friday.
Should they finish in top two of the three-team group, Anaclet Bagirishya’s side will automatically advance to semi-finals, set for August 11.
Group A is comprised of the defending champions DR Congo, Nigeria and Cameroon.
