L-R: GUEST Apostle Dunstan Maboya, HOST Apostle Charles Murenzi.

Tanzanian evangelist Apostle Dunstan Haule Selwin Maboya has urged Rwandan Christians to fight against laziness in order to get the blessings they ask from God.

Maboya was preaching at a one-week gospel conference organised by Shining Light Church, Gakinjiro and Nyarugenge district. The conference is expected to end today.

"You should not sleep too much, you need to work,” Maboya said in his sermon which was on principles of prosperity.

He added that some Christians spend a lot of time visiting others instead of working and reminded worshipers that they are called upon to help the poor and that they cannot do so if they are poor themselves.

He explained that poverty is not mere lack of money but inability to get what one needs at a time when one needs it.

Also present were Ugandan Pastor Patrick Makumbi of Victory Christian Church and Charles and Jolly Murenzi the conference hosts.

This is the first gospel conference organised in the country this year following a number of them organised last year which included the popular Africa Haguruka hosted by Zion Temple.
