Hardworking Miss

The current Miss School of Finance and Banking (SFB), Joan Uwase recently set tongues wagging when she was seen on duty at Simba Supermarket.

The 20-year-old student in the faculty of Management trying to carefully balance work and studies, is working hard to make enough money to meet her needs.

However, scouts have it that the gorgeous Uwase is not only famous for her hard work, but also appreciated by many customers for her excellent customer care and sense of self-esteem.

Also recognised for her beauty and status as Miss SFB, Uwase is also said to be great character both in class and in social life. Way to go.

Frank Joe to quit music

Possibly, you recognise him by his stage name Frank Joe, or his song "Rosina”, a famous hit which earned him fame and a huge fan base in the country.

Well, word reaching us has it that the crooner whose real name is Frank Rukundo intends to quit his music career and resort to the street in search of a white-collar job.

In fact, our scouts allegedly spotted the singer in an office, clad in a black designer suit holding a maroon folder apparently containing his application letter and Curriculum Viate(CV)…who knows!

However, according to other sources, Frank Joe, who is also likely to drop his stage name for serious corporate reasons, promised not to completely quit his talent. He promises to resume his career after making some good money to support him with his first love.

The RnB singer was recently heard saying, "I have finished school, and now am seriously searching for a job which will help me to establish myself, and facilitate my music career.”

Meanwhile, most of his fans are already disillusioned by his decision, and cannot wait to see him back on stage, giving them new hits.

Is MC Tino leaving?

Word on the street has it that Radio Flash presenter MC Tino (of the Morning Crew fame) may be on his way out of the station.

It is reported the Radio station has also already lost the services of his compatriot, Illah. She hasn’t made an appearance on the morning show for the past week or so.

Reasons of their departure are not yet clear, but inside sources point out a possibility of disagreement on pay terms.

There is an Angela already in Illah’s place, but MC Tino is still at the station, most probably agreeing terms with the management. His future will by all means be known by the end of this week. Watch this space.
