APR FC have confirmed the passing of their fitness coach Dr. Adel Zrane.
The Tunisian coach died in his house on Tuesday, April 2. The cause of his death remains unknown.

Times Sport understands that players and staff were informed about Adel’s sudden passing upon arrival at club’s training base in Shyorongi and they immediately returned home to mourn the loss of their colleague.
"It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our fitness coach, Dr. Adel Zrane, the circumstances of which are yet to be determined,” club statement reads.
Dr. Adel Zrane enjoyed a successful spell in Tanzania, helping Simba SC to win multiple trophies in the Tanzanian Premier League (TPL), Community Shield, and League Cup across three seasons.
He worked alongside renowned Belgian coaches Patrick Aussems and Sven Vandenbroeck and subsequently, alongside former Rayon Sports coach Didier Gomez Da Rosa.
Dr. Adel Zrane's coaching career expanded beyond East Africa, as he also coached for Etoile Sportif du Sahel in Tunisia, Al Ain in Saudi Arabia, Al-Wehdat Sportif Club in Jordan, and the Mauritanian National Team, leading them to the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
He joined APR FC in July 2023.
