Rwandan striker Dany Usengimana has signed for Canadian semi-pro league side Alliance Soccer Laval as a free agent for an undisclosed deal.

Usengimana, 27, has been without a club since July 1, 2023, and he has been offered a chance to resurrect his career by the Canadian lower tier club.

AS Laval, formerly CS Monteull, plays in the Ligue 1 Quebec and they are bent on moving up on the ranks hence signing the experienced striker.

Usengimana has previously played for Isonga, APR FC, AS Kigali and Police FC in Rwanda. The Canada-based forward also had stints with Singida in Tanzania as well as Tersana FC in Egypt.

AS Laval finished ninth in the 2023 Quebec Ligue 1 season.
