Famous Seventh Day Adventist choir, Ambassadors of Christ, will today head off to the United States of America on a 20-day tour.

This is the choir’s first U.S. tour.

The trip will include evangelistic crusades and concerts in Dallas, Houston and Texas, from August 4-18.

For the past 23 years, Ambassadors of Christ has staged performances in different African countries.

Joseph Mutabazi, the choir’s president, told The New Times that, the purpose of the tour is to spread the gospel through music.

"To all God’s people across North America that have a heart to support missionary work, you are invited to come and fellowship with us both at the evangelistic meetings and at the concerts,” he said.

Mutabazi added: "And to those that have always longed for fellowship with us, our God has opened the door and we look forward to meeting you and fellowship with you.”

During their stay, the choir will entertain congregations at different Churches, including Mount Zion Fellowship and Ashford Community Church both in Texas.

Ambassadors of Christ was founded in 1995, and boasts of 15 albums. Comprised of 45 professional singers, the choir is affiliated to the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Remera, Kigali.
