Save us from bushes in the form of enclosures in Rwamagana town

Dear editor,

I was extremely happy when Kigali authorities ordered all ‘Kigalians’ to cut bushes around their houses that were used as enclosures. These only acted as mosquito breeding places.

Therefore, in practice the people of Kigali will no longer have malaria problems as they used to. I however seek authorities in some other towns upcountry to do the same for we are suffering with bushes (Imiyenzi) meant for similar purposes.

For God’s sake, why do some people decide to surround their families with bushes well knowing the repercussions accrued. Such enclosures (imiyenzi) are meant for animals like cows and not people.

Furthermore, we cannot have a beautiful town with all bushes around us in Rwamagana town for instance. So please help us to have all the bushes cut down forthwith.

Bushes in the form of enclosures in Rwamagana town, only act as habitat for mosquitoes that transmit malaria.
