His Excellency Xi JinPing and Her Excellency Mrs Peng Liyuan were in Rwanda for a two-day State Visit, on July 22nd to 23rd, 2018.

 

As part of the visit, First Lady Mrs Jeannette Kagame received Her Excellency First Lady Mrs Peng Liyuan of China, for a presentation on Imbuto Foundation's work in health, education, youth and economic empowerment programmes. The First Ladies also discussed common socio-economic development interests.

 

First Ladies Mrs Jeannette Kagame and Mrs Peng Liyuan who is also a UNESCO special envoy on the advancement of girls' and women education, then proceeded to a vist to FAWE Girls' school Gisozi.
