Dear Editor,

Many people are wondering whether or not the lotto business in Rwanda is a reality. Their doubts come a time local people have been exploited by the lotto investors who deceive the citizens that the more tickets one buys, the higher the chances of winning a jackpot.

In the end however, the investors reward their own employees whom they are certain that the so-called prize would be returned to the company to entice more people buy tickets.

I hope this one is genuine. Otherwise it would be terrible to divert Rwandans’ focus from working hard to gambling. We are a hardworking people and the last thing we need is some sort of disorganisation and people to exploit us.

Therefore government should ensure that Rwandans can actually benefit from this business.
