Dear Editor,

I learnt from The New Times of yesterday that Atraco has failed to provide Gisenyi residents with transport means to their new market now located 2km away.

If Atraco assured residents that they will be always transported at a time the new plan to relocate the market was being mooted, why then are they not able to fulfil their promise?

It is not good to deny people the chance to purchase something when money is available. It is more like denying them an opportunity to acquire some basic needs of life.

I ask  government to intervene seriously or else, these residents are bound to suffer longer than they expect.
