Kigali Jazz Junction
Kigali Jazz Junction is celebrating three years and this month’s edition will feature Ugandan singer Bebe Cool and South Africa’s Ringo Madlingozi as the main acts. It will take place at Camp Kigali, and will feature performances from local acts Hope Irakoze and Neptunez Band.
Reading for change
Reading for change is a monthly event organised by Afflatus Africa. It brings together authors, readers, poets, publishers, and librarians to discuss how they can prepare generations to come through reading and writing African stories. Join the community of bookaholics today at the Kigali Public Library starting at 4:30pm.
Fragrance of Worship
Fragrance of Worship is back for its second edition with more worship leaders from Canada and Congo. Singers Maggie Blanchard (Canada) and Dena Mwana (DR Congo) will be the main guest worshippers alongside Fortran Bigirimana, Gaby Kamanzi and Serge Iyamuremye. It’s happening on Sunday July 1, at Christian Life Assembly.
Seka Live
Seka Live is back with its fourth edition and is happening on Sunday, July 1 at the Kigali Serena Hotel. It will feature Kenneth Kimuli aka Pablo and Alex Muhangi, some of the pioneer stand-up comedians in Uganda, as well as local acts, Arthur Nkusi, the host, and Kimenyi Herve. The show will be spiced up by musical performances from Ugandan singer Ragga Dee.
