Sudan international Sharaf Eldin Shaiboub has been named February's best player in the Primus National League.

The APR star beat off tight competition from Mukura Victory Sport's Samuel Pimpong, AS Kigali's Shabani Hussein and Amagaju FC’s forward Destin Malanda to win the prize.

Shaiboub enjoyed an excellent February, scoring four goals in four games. He netted a brace against Marines and one goal apiece against Sunrise and Mukura.

Meanwhile, APR's coach Thierry Froger won the coach of the month accolade after guiding his team to four victories and one draw in February, amassing 13 points out of a possible 15.

Bugesera FC's Elijah Ani won the goal of the month award for his wonder strike against Gasogi at Kigali Pele Stadium on February 11 as his club cruised to a 3-2 victory.

Kiyovu Sports’ shot stopper Djihad Nzeyurwanda's save against Gorilla on February 10 was named the best for the month.
