A watchman was found dead yesterday near Kibuye at the residence he was guarding late last night. Emanuel Rwagatenga, 54, was yesterday found dead at main flats in Kibuye, where he had been both living and working since divorcing his wife.

Berita Rwagatenga, whom he divorced years before, is a potential suspect in the case. His body was found bloody and after being critically examined at Kibuye hospital, murder has not been ruled out as cause of death.

"No marks of strangles or gunshot were seen,” says Rwandama, the deceased former boss and owner of the building.

His wife however says that Rwagatenga had a chronic cough and to her it is possible his lungs collapsed causing suffocation.

"Since the time we were together, he had a severe cough and he was drinking,” says Berita.

So far, she has defended herself against allegation saying that the two had been happily and legally married with two children and she would "never wish” to be a widow.

Burial is due to take place after more thorough examinations by the hospital.
