EMERY Bayisenge has passed his medical with Algerian giants USM Alger ahead of completing his move from Moroccan second tier side – Jeunesse Sportive El Massira.
The Rwanda international Bayisenge passed his medical on Monday morning before USM Alger welcomed him via the club’s official Twitter handle later in the day.
"Bayisenge has passed his medical this morning. #WelcomeBayisenge,” USM Alger tweeted.
The club also revealed that he was due to sign his contract today. By press time, the star defender was yet to put pen to paper, which was projected to be a two-year contract.
Bayisenge, 24, will face Rayon Sports at Amahoro Stadium on July 18 when the Blues host their Algerian counterparts in a Group D clash, in the underway 2018 CAF Confederation Cup
Last year, Bayisenge crossed from Moroccan second division side Athletic Club to archrivals El Massira on a one-year contract.
The former Isonga and APR FC center-back, made his full debut in the senior national team in 2011 and has ever since represented the country in several international competitions, including; CECAFA and CHAN finals and, AFCON and FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Sensational Bayisenge captained the U17 Amavubi starlets that competed at the 2011 FIFA U17 World Cup in Mexico. He has 37 international caps on his name.
