Four players have reached the round of last four in the inaugural National Pool Table Championship after the intensive last 16 and quarter-finals held on Saturday at Active Pub in Remera.

The four semi-finalists include; Ben Rwamucyo, Fauzi Ishimwe, Joseph Gasarasi and Elie Nshimiyimana.

Semi-finals and the final will be played on June 9, also at Active Pub, contrary to the inaugural plan which was supposed to have Kigali Convention Center as the venue.

"It was a very tough competition; every contestant was able to beat any opponent. I am very excited to make it to semi-finals. Now the focus is onto the June 9 challenge.” Fauzi Ishimwe who progressed to the knock-outs from Musanze preliminaries, told Times Sport yesterday.

The champion will pocket Rfw1.5 million, the first runner-up will get Rwf1 million while the second runner-up will walk away Rwf800,000 richer.
