Rwanda volleyball league defending champions Gisagara Volleyball Club, on Saturday, March 16, forfeited their game against Rwanda Energy Group (REG) after failing to show up at Remera court.

Times Sport understands that Gisagara VC had written to the local federation, asking for the postponement of the game but the federation insisted that they should play.

As a result of the forfeiture, REG was awarded a 75-point walk-over win.
