Rwandan international Djihad Bizimana scored a later winner as his club FC Kryvbas beat Kolos Kovalivka 1-0 in the Ukrainian Premier League on Saturday, March 16 evening.

Title chasing Kryvbas had struggled for 94 minutes before midfielder Oleh Kozhushko set up the Amavubi skipper to score in the 95th minute.

It was Bizimana's second league goal this season, having scored against Oleksandria in December 2023.

Bizimana has been very vital for Kryvbas this season playing 20 Ukrainian Premier League games, scoring twice and providing one assist as they race to win their first ever league title.

Kryvbas are second on the league table with 43 points plus 16 goals whereas Shakhtar Donetsk are on top with 43 points and a goal difference of 22 goals.
